The Barcolana

The Barcolana is an international sailing regatta held annually in the Gulf of Trieste. Renowned as one of the most successful regattas, it set a Guinness World Record in 2018 as the 'Largest Sailing Race' with 2,689 registered boats.

The Carso

The Carso is a limestone plateau along the eastern border of Friuli Venezia Giulia, extending from Gorizia to Istria through Trieste. Its landscape features numerous sinkholes, caves, stone-carved paths, and cliffs dropping into the Adriatic Sea.

Moving around Trieste
